Please note that cornelian isn't a red stone of a uniform color, most are a blood orange tone or have blood orange tones to them, and since furthermore it is a translucent stone, you will get variations between stones. If you are looking for a red stone do not choose cornelian, if ytou are looking for a fantastic naturally produced stone more along the lines of a blood orange hue, then this is the stone for you.
